Introduction – Affiliate Programme

We seek to build a solid affiliate network so that the benefits of Buzan’s iMindMap software can be brought to all types of users worldwide.

To help us do this, we invite organisations from a variety of industries to partner with us for promoting and recommending Buzan’s iMindMap software in different markets.

Our aim is to establish long-lasting and rewarding relationships, therefore, we offer a unique ‘no leakage’ affiliate programme to our select set of partners.

As a Buzan Online affiliate, you benefit from:

How the Programme Works

The Buzan Online Affiliate Programme utilises an inclusive sales tracking system which combines several effective tracking methods to ensure that you receive commission for any iMindMap website sales that are introduced by you. These methods include:

• A specially encoded URL for the Affiliate.
• Cookies placed in the end user computer to track return visitors.
• Email address tracking – as a final means, users can be tracked by the email address that they used to register for the product evaluation.

The Process

• Signing up online is easy. Just fill in the online forms and we will review your application. Once your application is approved we will email you full instructions on how to get started.
• You are assigned a specially encoded tracking URL in the form of www.imindmap.com/[affiliatecode]/. You are able to use this URL to promote iMindMap through your preferred channels for example, by uploading the link to your website, using it in email campaigns, and even displaying it on offline materials.
• The activity of visitors that are directed to the iMindMap website via your link can be easily monitored by our system. In order to receive their download links, all visitors are required to enter their email address when making their evaluation request. This provides us with additional data for tracking subsequent sales.
• Should users visit the iMindMap website direct (without entering via your URL) the system will recognise them as your users through cookie based tracking. The sale will consequently be assigned to you.
• If the user has disabled cookies and does not visit the site to purchase via your affiliate link, we are still able to verify that they are an affiliate user through their email address details. Hence, the sale will still be recorded accurately as being initially introduced by you.
• A ‘last Affiliate wins’ system is applied where a particular customer is assigned to the last Affiliate site he/she visited prior to entering the iMindMap website and completing a transaction. For instance, if the user visits Affiliate A; enters the iMindMap website but does not complete a transaction; then later visits Affiliate B, enters the iMindMap website again and makes a purchase, the customer is assigned to Affiliate B and the commission is paid to Affiliate B.

Pricing and Commissions

You will receive 40% of the value of any sales driven or introduced by you through the internet. Commission will always be based on the standard UK selling prices as detailed below.

A ‘return’ period of 90 days will apply for sales generated by one of your leads i.e. your lead will remain ‘active’ on our system for 90 days and commission would be paid if they purchased within this period.

If you are using PPC (Pay Per Click) advertising there will be exclusions on some search terms for promotion of iMindMap. These include the terms iMindMap, Mind Mapping, Mind Maps, Mind Mapping Software, Tony Buzan, or any near matches to these terms. Please check with us for permission before using any such terms in PPC campaigns. This list is not exhaustive and may change at any time.

Your margin would be based on the type of license requested i.e. for a 10 user license, you would receive £114 (40% of the RRP).

Ordering Stock of Boxed Product

All approved affiliates can also order boxed versions of the product and benefit from the same discounts. There will be a cost for shipping the boxed products to you and payment must be made in advance. If you wish to order boxed products please email sales@buzanonline.com with details of quantity and delivery address. We will send you a PayPal Money Request which will include details of the shipping cost. If you accept this and once the PayPal Money Request is paid, the goods will be shipped to you.

Reporting and Payment

A web based affiliate sales report system is available for all affiliates.

You will be provided with login details to access the system and generate a basic report for any given date period. The report will display the total number of click-throughs, sales, downloads (by operating system) and the number of licenses sold as result of your activity.

We will pay you on a monthly basis, approximately 30 days following the end of the calendar month for the commissions earned on the licenses sold within that month. Your commission will only be paid if it is greater than GBP £50, otherwise it will be carried forward into the next month.

Payment will only be made via PayPal to your PayPal account. If you do not have a PayPal account you can set one up by visiting www.PayPal.com. If you are in a Country that does not accept PayPal please contact us at info@buzanonline.com.
