Buzan Online is excited to announce the release of iMindMap Version 3.1.
Here at iMindMap we are constantly looking to enhance our product. The Development Team have come up with a range of innovative new features to improve the Mind Mapping experience.
This free upgrade has built upon the success of 3.0 and the feedback we have received from users and includes a number of exciting new add-ons in addition to polishing a range of our existing features.
Integration with MS Outlook® (Windows Only)
Integrate iMindMap project management systems with Outlook®. This exciting new add on allows you to easily import Outlook® contacts into iMindMap, and send Tasks and Milestones to Outlook and defined contacts.
Create Child Maps
iMindMap enables you to create a new Child Mind Map from an existing Map’s branch contents.
All of the data from the branch and its child branches can be moved to a new Mind Map bringing a greater level of freedom and ease to your mapping. This is further enhanced by a link on the parent and child branches which connect the branches to the maps so you can easily navigate between your original (parent) Mind Map and your newly created Map.
This tool allows the user to continue Mapping without the worry of using up vast amounts of memory whilst keeping the Mind Mapping process dynamic.
Project Progress Icons
iMindMap’s new Project Management Mode allows you to plot each of your tasks and sub tasks’ and monitor your progress via the pie charts placed on each branch. Each task / sub-task’s chart displays progress in 25% increments. As you update a task’s progress iMindMap will update each chart within the Task Editor. Alternatively you can update this yourself by clicking on the chart. Each click on the chart will increase the progress – this is done again in 25% increments. This tool offers the user a clear, visual means of monitoring the progress of their project or the projects of others.
E-Learning Courses
For us, there is no better thinking and learning tool than the Mind Map, which is why we have developed tools for you to create your own E-Learning Courses which integrate with Mind Mapping to deliver your message effectively. iMindMap Ultimate offers the opportunity for you to create, develop and distribute your OWN E-Learning Courses with Interactive Mind Mapping. Integrating audio, video, animations, text and interactivity with iMindMap you can build an installer for easy distribution to any type of user. In addition, all Editions of iMindMap come with an E-Learning Course viewer which allows anyone using the software to interact with the courses and iMindMap. This tool provides an easy way to convey your messages and learning materials to anyone!
In addition to these fantastic new features a number of our existing features have been enhanced. We have included more central idea images, improved security, stability, usability, and the overall look and feel of the product has been polished to present an innovative set of add-ons to greatly enhance your iMindMapping experience.
