This month saw over 26 people from 11 countries compete in the UK Memory Championships where participants battled it out for the converted UK title. The event, held in London, was partly sponsored by Buzan Online who not only offered their support but saw Chris Griffiths, Founder and CEO, speak at the event alongside Tony Buzan and Dominic O’Brien, 8 Times World Memory Champion.

The third annual championship involved competitors memorising card sequences, as well as random words, binary numbers, names and faces and decimal numbers.
Impressively the youngest competitor was just 15-years old. Eva Ball from Coventry won the UK's Schools Memory Championship last month, by recalling 94 numbers, 137 words, 12 events and dates, 102 binary numbers and nine shuffled playing cards in sequence.
Buzan Online were extremely proud to be supporting such a prestigious and important event. Chris Griffiths commented: “The UK Memory Championships is such an inspiring weekend – the incredible power of the competitors’ brains is incredible and continues to amaze me. The training and hard work that goes into preparing for the event is remarkable and we hope that many of the people here are using Mind Maps and iMindMap to help them achieve their impressive memory feats. For Buzan Online to be part of such an event is an honour.”
