Buzan’s iMindMap – Linux
System Requirements
- Tested on Suse, Fedora and Ubuntu
- Intel Pentium class 500 MHz (or faster) processor
- 512 MB RAM
- 150 MB of free hard disk space
Installation Recommendations

Download the iMindMap installation file (.sh) from iMindMap.com to your
desktop. Note: You will need administration privileges to install the program.

Then:
Install iMindMap using the terminal
Type the following script in the terminal:
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --
cd Desktop
chmod +x iMindMap_unix.sh
./iMindMap_unix.sh
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --
The installer will now run and guide you through the process.
OR
Install iMindMap using the non-console method
Right-click on file and select ‘Properties’.
Under the ‘Permissions tab’ check the box ‘Allow executing file as program’.
Simply double-click on iMindMap file and choose Run when prompted.
The installer will now run and guide you through the process.

Once you have purchased iMindMap you can register iMindMap for full accessibility. Enter your serial number [provided on purchase] when prompted.
Installation from Disk
If installing from CD-ROM please insert the disk and the iMindMap program will AutoRun. Follow the on-screen installation instructions.
Upgrading
If you are upgrading, you can simply download the new version and install over the installed program.
