Buzan's iMindMap - Windows

System Requirements

• Windows XP or Vista
  NB: iMindMap will run under older versions of Windows put we do not offer Technical Support for these OS. iMindMap is not supported on Windows XP 64-bit.
• Intel Pentium class 1 GHz (or faster) processor
• 512 MB RAM
• 150 MB of free hard disk space

Installation Recommendations

1. Download the appropriate Windows iMindMap installation file (.msi) using the links provided to you via email either when you registered for your free trial or upon purchase. Note: You will need administration privileges to install the program.
2. Click on the file and follow the onscreen instructions.
3. Once you have purchased iMindMap you can register iMindMap for full accessibility. Enter your serial number when prompted [provided by email upon purchase].

Installation from Disk
If installing from CD-ROM please insert the disk and the iMindMap program will AutoRun. Follow the on-screen installation instructions.

Upgrading
If you are upgrading, you can simply download the new version and install over the installed program.

If you do happen to experience any problems we would recommend uninstalling your current installation via Add / Remove Programs and then deleting the C:\Program Files\iMindMap directory prior to installing the new build.

Vista
If you are using Vista and you experience problems opening and saving iMindMap files then you may need to do the following.

• Locate the Buzan's iMindMap application folder (usually C:\Program Files\Buzan's iMindMap).
• Right-click on the folder, and select Properties.
• Select the Security tab at the top of the Properties window.
• Click the Edit button.
• In the Group or user names box, select Users ([your-computer-name]\Users).
• In the Permissions for Users box, select the Allow check-box next to Full control.

This gives iMindMap more access to its application folder, which it needs to operate.
