Show connections across your ideas

A Mind Map presents a hierarchical layout for conveying ideas and topics, however, there may be times when two concepts are related to each other even if one does not follow the other. To make connections within and across the branch pattern, you can use the Relationship Arrow feature in iMindMap™:

Choose from dotted, dashed and solid line options for your arrows and single or double arrowheads.

Arrows automatically guide your eye to visually connect one part of a Mind Map with another.

Make key topics ‘stand out’

Adding highlights in the form of clouds or other shapes can make specific topics or ideas ‘stand out’ making them easier to remember and communicate to others.

Use the Branch Ordering Tool in iMindMap™ to set the order in which you want your topics to be displayed when exported to other applications.

iMindMap™ automatically allocates an order number to your branches depending on the order in which they were created. Using the Branch Ordering tool you can easily amend the order for different requirements.

When moved or manoeuvred, branches will automatically ‘flip’ to the desired direction, saving you lots of time and effort in repositioning them.

Just click and drag to reorganise your branches

You are now able to move branches to different areas of your Mind Map with complete ease.

Just click on the branch you want to move and drag it to its new location. You can attach it to another branch or even turn it into a main branch by moving it to the central image.

Insert Branches Seamlessly

Use the keyboard shortcuts to quickly insert new branches into your Maps. Use Ctrl-i to insert new branches and then Ctrl Shift i and Ctrl Alt i to add a new branch before or after the active branch.
