OpenGenius was established in 2006. Chris Griffiths worked with Tony Buzan, the inventor of the Mind Map, to develop the iMindMap desktop mind mapping tool.
Chris also grew the ThinkBuzan Mind Mapping network to over 1000 licensed instructors worldwide. Many of whom he personally taught.
In 2019, Ayoa was launched, with focus being to provide a fully neuroinclusive mind mapping solution that would work in real time across multiple platforms and devices.
